Background
George Hadjitheofanous is a retired Major General. Graduate of the Military School of Evelpidon, the Economics Department of the School of Economics of the National Academy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki; He holds the PMP Certification of the Project Management Institute (PIP) and the Certificate of Organization & Management of Health Care Units of the University of Athens. As an officer he was responsible for planning, organizing and conducting training at a NATO Headquarters and Officer with Primary Responsibility (Project Manager) in a number of exercises (using the PMI methodology) including the largest NATO Exercise ever conducted in Greece at deployment level with the participation of a large number of officers from all NATO Headquarters in Europe. Also as Commander of the Greek Kosovo Force he designed and implemented a number of projects in matrix environment and as Headquarters Director at the Higher Transatlantic Warfare School he designed and implemented projects related to the training of student officers. Since 2014 he has been a trainer at the National Center for Public Administration & Self-Government at the Departmental Heads – Departmental Heads, both in person and remotely, in project management Strategic- Operational Planning and HR Management. He is our Project Management expert who guides teams and organisations to establish project management procedures and methodologies, Project Management Offices, and utilises Project Management himself in big and small projects.
