01.

Provision of Support Services

for the Implementation and promotion of the project “Digital Skills and eGovernment project training for people aged 55 and over and other age groups. “The project aims to provide support services for the implementation and promotion of the project. The main responsibilities and the role of KESEA is the coordination and the effective and smooth implementation of the project. At the same time, reassuring effective communication with other agents, and trainers by providing reports and updates to the contracting authority, as well as managing urgent matters that may occur and reassuring that deadlines will be met. The project started in September 2022 and is currently ongoing.

02.

Educational training programs

are provided for the members and stakeholders of the Project “University Labour Market Liaison Offices.” KESEA has the responsibility for planning and implementing educational programs. These programs cater to a) the affected members (members of the liaison offices and members of the project coordination team) involved in the project, and b) all stakeholders (companies, organizations, chambers, and social partners, etc). KESEA is also accountable for coordinating and ensuring the effective and smooth implementation of the project. This includes maintaining effective communication with other agents, communication channels, and trainers by providing reports and updates to the contracting authority. Additionally, KESEA manages any urgent matters that may arise and ensures that deadlines are met. The project commenced in December 2021 and is currently ongoing.

03.

Project Management Training

Services are procured for “Project Management Training” as the project aims to provide educational support to organizations in the Cypriot Public Sector for Project Management, specifically focusing on the utilization of the PMP® certificate. KESEA is entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating, organizing, and effectively implementing the project’s activities as a whole. This includes the preparation and supervision of deliverables. Additionally, KESEA provides PMP training as part of its role in planning and implementing educational programs. It also guides and evaluates these programs based on the PMP certificate. The project commenced in July 2021 and is currently ongoing.

Establishment and Operation of the Institute of Career Education and Training

The project titled “Establishment and Operation of the Institute of Career Education and Training” in which KESEA holds the responsibility for creating and structuring the necessary infrastructures for educational centres. This includes tasks such as establishing organizational structures, developing job descriptions, strategic planning, and implementing marketing strategies. KESEA manages the coordination, organization, and effective implementation of activities and the project as a whole, while also overseeing the preparation and/or supervision of deliverables. It is KESEA’s responsibility to ensure the successful creation and operation of the institute, guaranteeing the achievement of scientific, educational, and financial objectives. The project commenced in September 2020 and is currently ongoing.

Learning Management: Development of a Proposed Framework Guide and Educational Support

The project titled “Learning Management: Development of a Proposed Framework Guide and Educational Support” had the objective of developing a framework for the effective management of learning in public administration, involving the participation of stakeholders. Furthermore, a comprehensive guide was created to facilitate the more efficient management of learning within organizations. The project also entailed providing necessary training on learning management in both organizational settings and classroom environments, as well as through coaching. This training aimed to enhance the capacity of the client and its officials to effectively operate within the established framework for learning management, with the support of KESEA. With the completion of the contract, the client was given then necessary knowledge and tools to continue promoting effective Learning and Development Management beyond the project’s conclusion. The project commenced in March 2019 and was successfully completed in September 2021.

06.

Promotion of the Cyprus Europass National Centre

The project titled “Promotion of the Cyprus Europass National Centre ” primarily focuses on delivering consulting services aimed at promoting the activities of Europass Cyprus. These services encompass CV evaluations, presentations, and workshops conducted within communities, schools, and other relevant settings. The project specifically aims to promote activities related to CV creation and refinement, cover letter writing, and vocational guidance for enhancing communication skills, among others. Moreover, the project endeavors to raise awareness about Europass activities and the features offered by its new platform. KESEA assumes responsibility for coordinating and ensuring the effective and seamless implementation of the project. This involves maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders, communication channels, and trainers. KESEA also coordinates trainers, provides instructions, delivers reports and updates to the contracting authority, manages urgent matters, and ensures adherence to deadlines. The project commenced in June 2020 and was successfully completed in March 2021.

Labour Market Integration Programmes

The project named “Labour Market Integration Programmes” was funded by the Asylum Migration and Inclusion Fund. Its objective was to provide professional guidance and training programs for Young Third-Country Nationals (YTX) to enhance their employment prospects in Cyprus. KESEA assumed responsibility for assembling a team of trainers and overseeing their activities. This involved coordinating the trainers to deliver the general training program and providing a portion of the training themselves. The project was initiated in 2019 and successfully completed in 2020.

Promoting eGovernment Systems and Digital Skills

The project titled “Promoting eGovernment Systems and Digital Skills” was undertaken with the aim of providing consulting services and presentations to communities and other stakeholders. The primary objective of the project was to promote digital government systems and digital skills. This included activities such as preparing notes and exercises, reporting on various sources of digital learning, presenting project activities, and providing administrative support to the contracting authority. KESEA took on the responsibility of ensuring effective coordination and smooth communication with various agents, communication channels, and trainers. This involved providing reports and updates to the contracting authority and addressing any urgent matters that may arise while ensuring compliance with project deadlines. The project commenced in May 2018 and was successfully completed in December 2018.

Managing Performance Systems for Primary Education and Secondary Education in a Private School

The project titled “Managing Performance Systems for Primary Education and Secondary Education in a Private School” involved the provision of consulting services. The main objective of the project was to establish a performance management system for the academic and administrative staff comprising 140 individuals. KESEA served as an expert in the field of performance management and conducted organizational research through interviews and focus groups. Furthermore, KESEA was responsible for designing and implementing performance evaluation systems, which included driving a cultural shift within the school and providing training for personnel. The project commenced in May 2017 and was successfully completed in April 2018.

10.

Redesign and implementation of restructuring in an HR department

KESEA was engaged in providing consulting services for a fruit and vegetable production and export company regarding HR matters. The scope of the project involved the redesign and implementation of restructuring measures for the company’s HR department, including all associated functions. To accomplish this, KESEA conducted thorough organizational research to identify areas for improvement. The project encompassed several key tasks such as restructuring the organizational chart, preparing comprehensive job descriptions, developing policies and procedures, and implementing effective management systems. The objective was to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the HR department. The project commenced in December 2017 and was successfully completed in December 2019.

11.

Organization and Implementation of Information Meetings/Workshops in the Framework of Europass Programme

The project titled “Organization and Implementation of Information Meetings/Workshops in the Framework of Europass Programme” was undertaken by KESEA and its collaborators. The objective of the project was to develop and implement informative meetings and workshops related to the Europass program. Europass is a personal folder that includes five documents, designed within the European framework, to showcase an individual’s acquired benefits, knowledge, skills, and abilities from their professional and work experience. The documents follow a standardized format for all citizens of the European Union.

12.

Network of Learning Management in Local Government Organizations

A conference was organized as part of the “Network of Learning Management in Local Government Organizations” of which KESEA was part of. The conference took place on Monday, 11th April 2011. The purpose of the conference was to facilitate the implementation of learning management practices within local government organizations.

13.

Institute of Social Innovation

KESEA was a member of the Institute of Social Innovation, which has undertaken the development of a supporting network of learning management processes within the framework of the project ‘Training for the Development of Administrative and Leadership Capacity in Local Government Organizations.’ This project is implemented with the aim of upgrading the administrative capacity of the public sector and improving the services provided.

14.

Training Seminars for Public Sector Employees

The coordination and implementation of the project titled “Training Seminars for Public Sector Employees” were undertaken by the Department of Population and Immigration Records. This project received co-financing from the European Return Fund and the Republic of Cyprus. The project was successfully completed in January 2011.

15.

Programmes of Orientation for Beneficiaries of International Protection

The project titled “Programmes of Orientation for Beneficiaries of International Protection” was implemented by the Asylum Services. The project received co-financing from the European Refugee Fund and the Government of Cyprus. It was initially assigned in February 2010 and successfully completed in June 2011. Additionally, in October 2010, the project was renewed for an additional 8 months. As part of this initiative, comprehensive guides were created and distributed to provide detailed information about the rights and obligations of Beneficiaries of International Protection residing in Cyprus. These guides were translated into Greek, English, and Arabic to ensure accessibility for a wider audience.

16.

Education and Vocational Counselling

Services were provided for the coordination and completion of the thematic field “Education and Vocational Counselling” within the European network for young employability. The project was assigned by the Ministry of Employment and Social Insurance in February 2010 and successfully completed in December 2011. The main objective of the project was to enhance education and vocational counselling for young individuals, aiming to improve their employability and career prospects.

17.

Technical Support and Preparation of the Common Reference Framework

Services were provided for “Technical Support and Preparation of the Common Reference Framework” within the European Network for young employability. The project was assigned by the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance in February 2010 and successfully completed in December 2011. The objective of the project was to provide technical support and develop a common reference framework to enhance young employability across European countries.

18.

Access Channels

Consulting services were offered to the “EQUAL” community initiative for the project “Access Channels” focusing on HR-related topics. The main consulting domain centered around promoting flexible employment types within companies. This involved establishing suitable processes within organizations to facilitate the adoption of these new employment types.

19.

Partnership of Organizational Consultants

KESEA was member of the Partnership of Organizational Consultants, which operates as an operational unit. The team was part of a comprehensive renewal project for the Public Services of Employment in Cyprus. The Ministry of Labour served as the commissioning authority and contractor for this project.

20.

Provision of Training Services for the Personnel of the Public Sector.

KESEA provided coordination and observation services for training initiatives under the project “Provision of Training Services for the Personnel of the Public Sector.”

21.

New Routes for Women

Training and coordination services were provided for the project “Women Training” within the framework of the “New Routes for Women” project, as part of the EQUAL-Social Initiative. The training targeted groups of women who were at risk of social marginalization due to their exclusion from the labor market. The aim of the training was to facilitate their reintegration into the workforce.
